Notes for giving lectures, study and tutor guides and information for teaching the YCL, Young Communists League. A large number of syllabi from the CPGB's Central Education Department, mostly from the 1960s. Many of the guides are introductory in nature, outlining basic principles of Socialism or talking about the Communist Manifesto. A number of texts specifically talking about CPGB education within the Sheffield area. Handwritten political summaries including 'Capitalist crisis: Imperialism, Fascism and War', 'The labour party: the State of Democracy' and 'Labourism, Freedom and Democracy'.
